Search forms send the entered name, phone number, or address to the outside provider that returns results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A direct message contains only what its sender chooses to include and is used to provide a reply.

Standard hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate data helps maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Links Beyond This Site
Government portals, records offices, library collections, and outside search tools set their own privacy policies. Their rules apply to information submitted after leaving this service. That distinction also covers sponsored results supplied by an outside company.

Hosting and support providers process server logs for us, while analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Valid legal process can require disclosure. Visitor data is not otherwise shared.
How Data Is Protected
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Maryland Data Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Commercial Law ยงยง14-4601 et seq., may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain covered personal data and to opt out of specified sale, targeted advertising, or profiling, subject to its thresholds and exceptions. Because we retain little information, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records held by Montgomery County or Maryland agencies remain outside our control; any correction or restriction request for those records must go to the custodian.
